Nestle Case Study of an After-Dinner Party

Not many acts can boast they they’ve played at the O2 Arena. Well we can! Well, OK it was in the VIP banqueting suite within a few feet of the main auditorium but we’ll count that as a win.

We were booked by Kate Alexander from Nestle to provide after-dinner entertainment to end their day-long breakout session for 150 guests. The demographic was very mixed. We had an age range between 20s to 60s, a 50/50 male/female ratio and a nice healthy European flavour to the group too. This never poses a problem, in fact this is perfect for a Stick It On party.

A DJ sign-up microsite was sent around to all the attendees prior to the evening, encouraging anyone to submit a DJ set of three of their favourite songs. The deadline was set a few days before the event, with a very healthy response and Kate picked the DJs she thought should play on the night (pairing up quite a few to include as many people as possible).

To say we had a good night was a slight understatement. I think the photos speak for themselves and Kate and some of her team kindly gave us their thoughts in-front of camera.

Have a look for yourself and make your own mind up.

Thanks to the photographer Clark Stanley-Smith for taking all these photos.
