Private Party: Gary Cole’s 40th Birthday Party

Having a private party? Then read on…

A 40th birthday party takes a lot of pre-organisation, luckily Stick It On is well versed in doing just that. We’ve been delivering our unique interactive DJ service at parties, weddings and events for over a decade now. A few years ago, we were booked to provide Stick It On at Gary Cole’s 40th birthday party.

As Gary is local to Brighton he was already familiar with Stick It On. Gary was also sure he wanted us for his 40th birthday party before he’d even made an enquiry. Once his enquiry had come in we exchanged emails, explained our service in more detail and Gary officially booked us in.

Gary’s 40th Birthday Party…

The party was held at Brighton Music Hall, a venue we know well having hosted numerous birthday bashes there before. A few months before the event we built a dedicated microsite for Gary’s 40th birthday party. Guests used this to pre-register to DJ a three song set at the party. After a really successful pre-registration period, Gary chose 16 guest DJs (including himself of course) to rock the party.

As is the norm, we provided the music and contacted everyone in advance. We let them know they would be playing and that we’d provide technical assistance. On the night, the guest DJs checked in with us and were given their DJ time slot. We always work out a running order that guarantees the party will end on a suitably uptempo climax.

We followed up a few days after the party by sending Gary commemorative CDs of the music played. Gary left us this lovely quote as part of the post-event feedback form we give client’s the option of filling out:

I had the best night partying & everybody loved the whole stick it on experience. The whole experience from my first enquiry to the actual party has been a breeze & so much fun too.’- Gary Cole

We create interactive club nights, inspired corporate events and alternative wedding receptions that will pack the dance floor all night long. If you would like to discuss anything related to this blog post or our services in general, send an email to mitch@stickiton.org.uk
