The latest wedding party we’ve hosted was to celebrate the nuptials between David & Lauren, who booked us back in July of last year. 18 DJs, including the bride & groom, got behind the decks to spin 3 of their favourite songs during the evening reception at Dodford Manor, a lovely venue we’ve appeared at a number of times before.

By the day of the wedding all of the admin, which has included weekly updates regarding DJ set submissions, and music sourcing had been completed and Mitch handed over the prepped ‘party pack’ to the event’s host; business founder and owner Rob. With the van packed, Rob made the journey from Brighton to the venue, set the equipment up and kicked things off with a warm up set at 7.30pm.

After the first dance and first DJ set played by the newlyweds, a further 17 DJs followed over the next three and a half hours before the last song was played just before midnight. The music isn’t just played randomly though, during a quiet moment in the office this week Rob sat down and worked out the best order for allowing the music to gradually build throughout the night to a rousing climax.
