Praise You Norman

We’ve had a few well-known faces grace the Stick It On decks over the years. Our most recent entry to the SIO hall of fame happened over Christmas for 6 Music presenter/artist/producer Matt Everitt’s wedding to Beth.

And ‘WOW’ what a wedding!  Held at Hampton Court House, fit for royalty with Bushy Park as its back garden seemed a perfect fit for the occasion. Wedding planners Revelry did an amazing job co-ordinating the proceedings and it seemed that every detail had been carefully and painstakingly thought of to the minutest detail.

We were booked in to host a ‘Stick It On‘ session following a short four-song set from wedding-guest super group notably with Matt on drums and Mark King (Level 42) on bass amongst the musicians.

Now if you ever had a wish list of people to kick start a Stick It On we would argue that Matt & Beth’s SIO DJ opener would be top of the list.  It was our absolute pleasure to introduce none other than Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim and for one night only….’Twatboy Dim’.  Of course, we didn’t have to show him what to do but it was so fantastic that he got involved in the spirit of Stick It On and the occasion. Thanks Norman x

Here are some pics that tell the story far better than we can…
