Saturday 25th May 2024 NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. The Stick It On host will be at your side to guide you\u00a0through the simple process to DJ superstardom! You can DJ on your own or, if you need a bit of additional courage, find a DJ partner and form a DJ team.<\/p>\n You just need to choose some songs that will rock the dancefloor, click the link below, fill in the online form and we’ll contact you with more details.<\/p>\n Musically anything goes… Pop to Hip Hop, Dance to Disco, To apply to\u00a0DJ, just fill in the form. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n So, you\u2019re going to a Stick It On party \u2013 a friend\u2019s birthday, relatives wedding or works event perhaps \u2013 and you fancy DJing, but what three songs are you going to pick? Initially you might think it\u2019s easy, you\u2019ll just stick three great songs down and that\u2019s that. But will they fit the party you\u2019re attending? Do the three songs flow as one set? How do you pick just three songs from the countless hundreds that you love?<\/p>\n Once you sit down and start to think about submitting a DJ set for a Stick It On party you\u2019ll realise it takes a bit of thought. You may absolutely LOVE Rage Against the Machine\u2019s Killing in the Name of, but will it suit the mood at a wedding reception or corporate event? We know from experience that the people who have agonised over what to play, often whittling an initial dozen or so songs down to a final three, are the people that really get it. A three-song set needs to flow \u2013 two up-tempo classic songs followed by a slow acoustic track is going to sound strange and break up the rhythm on the dancefloor. \nYou\u2019ll know in advance the type of event you\u2019ll be attending and can make safe assumptions about what the atmosphere will be like. Use that as your starting point and the ideas for songs, and in which order to play them, will start to come. You\u2019ll probably change your mind and start again, get frustrated and have your mind go blank \u2013 but when you settle on your set, play it and the dancefloor responds with great appreciation it will have all been worthwhile.<\/p>\nWhat is Stick It On?<\/h6>\n
