Human Fruit Machine brought to
you by Kitchen Academy

Kitchen Academy’s giant sized fruit machine is a fantastic concept & is popular with children in schools, at events and at birthday parties. Three children get inside the fruit machine where they will find a selection of fruit. When the fruit machine arm is pulled the children inside choose a fruit and present it through the opening in front of them. If the child at the front of the Human Fruit Machine gets three in a row then they win a healthy prize.

Grafitti Workshops

CanControl' are a team of youth workers who offer workshops in spray can art. Their workshops illustrate that graffiti is not about vandalism, but is in fact an established art form with a rich history and tradition stretching back over the last thirty years. CanControl' have worked alongside councils, schools and youth teams across London, Brighton and the South Coast and have a formula in place that provides a rewarding and exciting educational experience. Spray can art can be an extremely positive, creative outlet and a massive confidence booster. The facilitators put great importance on team building and make sure that everyone is treated equally and respectfully. The workshops are designed to provide a background history of the graffiti art, and to teach the techniques required to produce quality work. The children will work on their own individual canvasses using ‘posterman pans’ to create graffiti style interpretations of their own names.

Brighton - Like You've Never Seen It Before

Brighton has long been famed for its spectacular skyline that integrates old & new against a stunning coastal backdrop. An 8m by 1.5m standing wooden backdrop has been created especially for this event by What & Sons. It incorporates some of the city's most popular iconic landmarks (the Palace Pier, the Pavilion, the Clock Tower, the rolling South Downs etc) for the children to paint & decorate using a variety of media. Once complete, this amazing scene will become the backdrop for the afternoon performance.
